Debbie Hanna from Alzheimer’s Texas will lead a discussion on The Healthy Brain Initiative, which improves understanding of brain health as a central part of public health practice. The initiative creates and supports partnerships, collects and reports data, increases awareness of brain health, supports populations with a high burden of Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias.
Debbie Hanna is the principal of MDS2 a nonprofit consulting organization serving charities in the State of Texas.
Since 2002 Debbie has been involved in funding and general support for projects relating to Alzheimer’s disease and other neurological disorders. She serves as organizing President of the Darrell K Royal Research Fund for Alzheimer’s Disease www.DKRFund.org which has distributed over $6M in private neurological research grants to Texas medical schools and universities.
