Tracy King, Senior Care Manager at CareFor, will be our special guest for this event.

Tracy King, RN, CCM, is looking forward to sharing her knowledge regarding Dementia and the care needs surrounding the necessary support. Her goal is that you will leave the presentation with a better understanding of what Dementia is, how to better support your loved one with Dementia, and where to access resources for additional support and education.

About our Speaker

Tracy King, currently serving as Senior Care Manager at CareFor, is a Registered Nurse, Social Worker, Certified Case Manager, and Private Professional Guardian with over 20 years of experience in care management. Her extensive background includes specialized expertise in brain injury, hospice care, dementia, and aging in place, providing compassionate and comprehensive support to patients and their families. Tracy is currently furthering her education at Texas State University in a Graduate program focused on Dementia and Aging. She will graduate in May 2025 with a Master’s of Science in Dementia and Aging. Her dedication to advancing her knowledge and skills underscores her commitment to delivering the highest quality of care in these critical areas. Tracy holds a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from the University of North Texas and a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing from Texas Tech Health Sciences Center. She has lived in Austin for 33 years and has two adult children, Lily, 25 and Levi, 23.
